CROM Is a skirmish game set in the Hyborian Age "...Between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities, and the years of the rise of the Sons of Aryas..." that enables players to recreate the stories of Robert E. Howard and similar authors of heroic fantasy.

CROM is designed for individually based miniatures. Players controlling the 'good' side control a single hero/champion each whilst their opponent(s) control a champion (usually a wizard) and several groups of minions.

CROM works well for multi-player games but is not suited to solo play.

CROM uses a dice pool mechanic that gives players complete freedom of choice over what their character do each turn.
